A Full First Day!

Our first day in Florence brought me two coachings, a voice lesson, and an acting class! It was a beautiful day, so in addition to our classes, some of the other students and I walked around Florence all evening. I have plenty of photos to share. The first few are from my run around the River Arno shortly after dawn. The next two were from the acting class while we did various dramatic exercises. The next one was with fellow St. Louisian Natalie Hunt! She and I shared a voice teacher during high school, and she's currently a fabulous soprano at the Boston Conservatory. Just click on the picture below to scroll through them. Enjoy!

I've also included a snippet of my first coaching of Caro Elisir from the Elixir of Love by Donizetti. My scene partner is Emilyn Badgley, a senior soprano from the Eastman School of Music. She is a dream to work with and a perfect Adina!
